Now I understand
Soon after purchasing my digital SLR, Allison began pestering me to take photographs of her – from viewing a waterfall, to poorly done senior-picture-like photographs. I attributed it to her unique quirkiness, but after having gone to Mill Creek Park with her father, I now realize it was inherited. While Allison has subdued her requests for photographs of herself on hikes, since I deny her most times, her father, Larry, has not been conditioned as such; he asked me to photograph he and himself with Allison at every site worth seeing. Delivering Eva
This Christmas, we delivered Eva to Allison’s parents, while we brought Éva back to Atlanta. Here the two dogs enjoy exploring Bear’s Den at Mill Creek Park.

Leaves are just changing here
The autumn leaf changing is just hitting Atlanta, but was clearly well underway in Ohio by this time. This was taken on 22 October of last year at Jennings’ Woods.

Cold, damp apids
On morning, I arrived early to Holden Arboretum and notices bees on nearly all of the plants surrounding the entrance to the Science Research Center. They were damp from condensation, and motionless from the cold, but attempting to warm themselves in the morning sun.
