I bet Myrmecos knows this guy. I found several that appeared to be patrolling a dead staulk of Joe-Pye weed (Eutrochium)

Fun with frass
This caterpillar used silk to construct a home by folding a part of a leaf over. The frass in the background of the second image is presumably from the caterpillar, although I didn’t notice any herbivory within the folded leaf.
